Dr. Ryan Wynne is an assistant professor of biology at St. Thomas Aquinas College where he teaches undergraduate courses in Biochemistry, Genetics and Introductory Biology.  Dr. Wynne received his B.A. in Biochemistry/Chemistry, with high honors, from East Stroudsburg University and his Ph.D. from Lehigh University.  After obtaining his Ph.D., Dr. Wynne was hired as a Post-Doctoral researcher at the University of Rochester before arriving at St. Thomas Aquinas College in 2008.

Dr. Wynne has nearly 10 years of experience performing research in the field of neurobiology and has published in such journals as Nature Protocols, Journal of Neurochemistry, Journal of Neurobiology and Glia.  Currently, Dr. Wynne trains undergraduates in the application of the scientific method in his laboratory.  When he is not teaching or performing research, Dr. Wynne can be found assisting the Science Club and its officers in organizing events for all St. Thomas Aquinas College students.
